1989 Aston Martin V8 EFI Volante finished in one of the most suitable colours for this model of Buckinghamshire Green, complimented with an unmarked Magnolia Connolley hide interior piped in green. It is fitted with a suede green mohair soft top which when opened is covered with a tailored suede green leather hood cover. The car was originally ordered by a Greek gentleman living in Monaco as a present for his sister who also resided in the UK. This is a car that is well known to us as we were instrumental in supplying the car to the current owner and have serviced it in the past. With the car, comes a chronologically presented and very detailed history file, clearly showing the degree of care that has gone into the maintenance of this fine motor car. Also present is the original Aston Martin Lagonda service voucher book with the first three services having been carried out by Aston Martin “Works” at Newport Pagnell, followed by servicing with HWM Aston Martin in Walton upon Thames and R.S. Williams in Cobham. A recent enhancement carried out by Aston Martin “Works” has been the fitting of a Nardi steering wheel and the upgrade of the centre console to POW specification at a cost of £17,000 together with Becker Traffic Pro fitted by Trinity Engineering. The car sits on correct polished Cross Spoke alloy wheels and is shod with Avon Turbosteel tyres. It drives extremely well and these V8’s fitted with electronic fuel injection in my opinion are considerably easier to keep in tune than the marginally quicker Vantage alternative.
