This actual mileage chrome bumper, overdrive example of a very nice MGB has record files dating back to the early 1980s.The car has always been owned by mature owners that recorded the services and items bought to keep the car in top tier condition. When driving the MG my first reaction as that this was one of the tightest, best driving MGB cars I have had but I realize I make that statement about twice a year when I obtain very special examples .I am going to make the statement anyway, this is one of the best ,tight driving, well sorted MGB I have had the opportunity to present. The owners were British Car Club members with a conscientious mindset to keep and maintain this car to the level that it was designed to be.
The car just received a new stainless steel exhaust, tires are deep in tread, all gauges and electrical components work as designed ,gauges are crisp and clean. The paint is as nice as the pictures reflect as is the chrome components. Soft top is as new as is the seats ,door cards ,carpets and cack free dash.
As nice as the car is cosmetically the drivability trumps the high quality cosmetics. The car runs so smooth strong ,tight ,with a sewing machine accurate engine and a quiet transmission with good synchros.
If one is seeking an extremely nice chrome bumper MGB it will behove one to pay a little more and purchase an extremely nice example-your MG experience will be more rewarding.
