This Commer 8cwt Light Van was purchased from us in June last year, having previous been owned by a film company and used in many TV and film productions. The vendor describes the Hillman Minx-based commercial as “running better now than when purchased. It does require work but provides a good example of a classic and rare vehicle." He tells us that it “starts and drives ok” but warns that the brakes are not working properly.
A restoration has been carried out at some stage, but details are sadly unknown. There is no accompanying paperwork, so the next owner will need to apply for a new V5C. First registration was on 1st September 1937.
