Our vendor tells us that this 1973 Saab 96 V4 has had about £26,000 spent on it between 2019 and 2023, on top of the 2019 purchase price of £7,600. Presented as a tribute to the Rally success that these cars achieved. The first owner kept the Saab for 10 years and the second keeper had it for 34 years. Our vendor is the fifth keeper. Works carried out to the Saab include much mechanical work including a full top end rebuild of the Ford 1498cc V4 engine, uprated carburettor, Jetex exhaust system, re-cored radiator, replaced shock absorbers & springs, new diaphragm clutch, rebuilt master cylinder and professional welding completed.
The car comes with a large quantity of invoices, some old MoT certificates, the 2024 purchase invoice, an overview of works completed and the V5. 76,209 recorded miles
